Friday Night - July 16, 2010
3:00-6:00 pm Registration of units at the Bay Jammer Headquarters
(Located in the rear of the Band Shell, which is the clubhouse of the M&M Yacht Club)
6:10 pm Youth Leaders meeting - Adults too - Back Porch Bandshell
6:40 pm Meeting for King and Queen Candidates - Back Porch Bandshell
7:00 pm Opening Ceremonies and Flag Raising
Conducted by the 2007 Earl Nelson Award Winners.
7:15 pm LipJam 2008 - Talent Competition
10:15 pm LipJam Concludes (approximately)
Street Dance Commences
11:40 pm Street Dance Concludes
(All units not helping clean up after the street dance are asked to leave the grounds immediately.)
1:00 am Curfew - The city of Menominee has extended its usual curfew time especially for this event.
Please be sure that your youth and adult members are inside by this time limit.
Saturday Morning - July 17, 2010
7:45 am Chartered bus leaves the Menominee Marina for the Marinette Civic Center for the
Swimming Competition. Please make use of the bus and be prompt!
8:00 am Swimming Competition - Marinette Civic Center
(100 Alice Lane - Marinette - See map enclosed in your registration packet received on Friday.)
9:00 am - Noon Marlin Spike Compass Relay Log Sawing Pulling Boat Race
(All events will take place on the grounds of the Great Lakes Memorial Marina Park venue. Exact
locations within the park will be announced by members of the Bay Jammer Event Staff.)
10:00 am - 3:00 pm Sand Sculpting Competition - Veteran’s Memorial Park
10:00 am - 12:00 pm King and Queen Interviews (Times will be established for your contestants)
10:00 am - 11:00 am Optional Log Rolling Practice Period
(Units interested in practicing for the Log Rolling Competition will have the opportunity to practice during this time
frame. The log will be placed on the south side of the swimming pier.)
Saturday Afternoon - July 17, 2010
12:00 - 1:00 pm Lunch Break - On Your Own
1:00 - 3:30 pm Mini-Olympics, Canoe Race, Bucket Brigade, and Ring Buoy Competitions
(All events will take place on the grounds of the Great Lakes Memorial Marina Park venue. Exact
locations within the park will be announced by members of the Bay Jammer Event Staff.)
11:00 - 2:00 pm Log Rolling Competition
(Located on the south side of the swimming pier.)
Tug-of-War Weigh-In Period
(Located at the Band Shell.)
1:30 - 4:00 pm First Aid Competition
(Located at the Band Shell.)
4:00 - End of Dinner Polls open for King and Queen Competition Voting - Band Shell
3:00 - 5:00 pm Drilling and Maneuvering Competition
(Located on the grounds of the Marina Park venue. Be listening to the public address system for the exact location.)
3:00 pm Sand Sculpting Competition Ends
(Please note that the judges may close this event early if all units that have signed up have participated.)
5:30 pm Bay Jammer Parade of Units
(Begins in the parking lot of the Zelm Chiropractic Building.)
6:00 pm Dinner - Band Shell

8:45-11:45 pm Formal Dance @ Marinette Middle School
10:15 pm King and Queen Candidates Assemble
10:30 pm Announcement of the 2008 Bay Jammer King and Queen
10:45 - 11:45 pm Optional Pizza Party
MIDNIGHT - All units should leave the dance no later than midnight
1:00 am Curfew
7:30 am Church Services
9:30-10:30 am Girl's Triathlon / Coed Unit Volleyball
10:30-11:30 am Coed Triathlon / Girl's Volleyball
11:30 am Tug-of-War Competition
1:15 pm Awards Ceremony
