Chairman's Report and the Committee

 Dear Bay Jammers,

      Thank you for showing an interest in attending Bay Jammer 2008!  I appreciate the fact that so many of you are showing an early interest in attending our 60^th anniversary event.  Since becoming chairman of Bay Jammer over ten years ago, the committee and I have worked very hard to revitalize this event into what it once was many years ago.  I can honestly say that I think we have met most of our goals, but we won't be satisfied with just that.  Our continued goal is to make this the most enjoyable weekend of the year for you and your unit.  If there is anything we can do to help your unit realize the Bay Jammer experience just as thousands have over the past fifty-eight summers, please do not hesitate to contact me and I will personally see what can be done.

     As I stated earlier, this is our 60th annual Bay Jammer.  It seems amazing that this event has been going strong for so many years despite all the many changes that have taken place in our society.  That is a tribute to the Bay-Lakes Council, my fellow committee members, and all of you for seeing to it that this tradition does not go away.

     Once again, if there is anything either I or any member of the committee can do for you as you prepare to attend Bay Jammer 2008, please feel free to contact me and I will see what can be done.  Thanks again for showing an interest in our little event!  I look forward to seeing all my old friends and making new ones again this coming July!
